ONE BOBCAT SECOND WEEKEND SAME YARD

OUR SECOND WEEK OF YARD PREP..
WE HAVE BEEN BUSY ALL WEEKEND
GETTING THE YARD READY FOR GRASS...
WELL.... THE SPRINKLERS SEEM TO BE WORKING GREAT..
EXCEPT FOR THE TWO
SOMEONE FORGOT TO PUNCH HOLES IN.. :)

THERE ARE 28 SPRINKLER HEADS IN ALL IN THE YARD..
AND THAT DOES NOT COUNT THE DRIP LINES..
WHICH WILL DO THE PLANTS AND BUSHES...

BART HAS DONE THE WHOLE YARD HIMSELF,
WITH TIDBITS OF HELP FROM ME
WHEN I GET THE INKLING TO SHOVEL DIRT AND GRAVEL..
WE HAD A FUN WEEKEND WORKING SIDE BY SIDE
TO GET THIS PROJECT WELL ON IT'S WAY

EVEN WORKING UNTIL WAY PASSED DARK..
LIGHTS ON BOBCAT MAKES IT A BIT EASIER...
WE NOW HAVE ABOUT 1/4
OF THE ROCK LAID IN THE YARD..
WE WERE WORKING LATE IN THE EVENING
TO TRY AND SPREAD THEM AROUND... FUN FUN

WHEN YOUR ARMS ARE TIRED FROM THE RAKE,
THEN YOU USE THE FEET...
WHEWWWWW... I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 9000 SQ FT OF GRASS..
I AM SURE HE WILL THINK IT IS WORTH IT
WHEN THE GREEN GRASS GROWS NEXT YEAR...

UMMMM.. WHAT AM I THINKING...
I MOW THE YARD AT THIS HOUSE...
HEY BART..?? CAN WE JUST LEAVE THE WHOLE THING ROCK..???

Hi, Carrie! Because I live in Phoenix, we do have a ROCK yard. Sometimes I long for the green stuff, and then I remember the endless watering, weeding, edging, mowing, and the the fact that I have never liked doing yard work. Yeah, rocks are okay with me. It was really fun to hear from you on my blog. Thanks for your note. I'll look forward to hearing from you once in a while!
Love, Karla

We did our yard all summer- I must admit we contracted a lot of it out but it was hard work- I am so glad it is done.
