Merry Christmas 2007

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2007

WAS ONE OF A LOT OF EMOTIONS... WE GOT TO GO TO STAY AT OUR SON MATTHEW'S HOUSE AND BE THERE WITH ACE. HE HAD SO MUCH FUN. BUT I THINK ME AND GRAMPY HAD THE MOST FUN. WATCHING HIM EXPLORE HIS PRESENTS AND SMILE. AND PLAY AND PLAY ALL DAY.. HOW WONDERFUL IS THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS. GIVING, PLAYING AND ENJOYING FAMILY. NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT... AND KINDA SAD, BECAUSE WE KNEW THAT THE DAY AFTER WAS THE LAST TIME WE WOULD SEE OUR BABY (CORT) FOR 2 YEARS..WE KNEW WE WOULD MISS HIM.. ALTHOUGH WE KNEW IT IS WHAT HE SHOULD BE DOING.
WHAT A DAY...!!

Carrie, I know you have a emotioned filled week. The last couple months; Cort was at our house alot. He is such an awesome person. He made such an impact on Zach. We miss him, and are thinking about him alot. If you have a chance, send his email, or post it on your blog.

Zach said the other day that he realized he wouldn't see Cort for 4 1/2 years, by the time Zach gets home. Unless of coarse he gets called to Zimbabwae. He and Cort laughed and teased about that. How funny it would be to have two Elder Peterson's in the same mission.

We love you guys and I am personally thinking that in about 5 years we (you and Bart and Brian and I) should finally get on our cruise. By that time, Zach should be home.
