HUSBAND TAG ( I DON'T LIKE THE WORD HUBBY )

1. Where did you meet?

We met at Chaple street park in Layton, Ut. The first time we saw each other, I was playing Tennis with Judean Weaver.. and he stopped to say hi... The Second official meeting was playing softball with a group of mutual friends across the street from my house.. We still play softball there as a family when we are in Utah..

2. How long did you date before you got married?

We dated 7 months before we were engaged.. then we married 6 months after that.. so 13 months.. :)

3. How long have you been married?

June 16, 1978 so.. ummm 30 years, 4 mths..

4. What does he do that surprises you?

Keeps me around.. :)

5. What is your favorite feature of his?

Are Wrangler's a feature...?????

6. What is your favorite quality of his?

Charity... He is the most giving person I have ever known..

7. Does he have a nickname for you?.

Yes... Bimbo... It was given to me by my Mother.. She called me kimbo bimbo... hahaha

8. What is his favorite color?

Blue

9. What is his favorite food?

Steak and Potato's

10. What is his favorite sport?

Golfing, Fishing, Hunting, Softball..

11. When and where was your first kiss?

In his truck in West Layton..

12. What are the top 3 favorite things you do as a couple?-

---Working together... We have worked side by side throughout our marriage.. we get along well and seem to know what the other needs before being asked..

---Playing together... We hunt, Fish, Golf, Ski (I try- he laughs..) Hike, Explore.. Life is an adventure.. I can't imagine sharing it with anyone else...

---Relaxing.. We like to just sit and watch TV together..

13. Do you have any children?

Yes.. 9-- Matthew & Kelly... Jordon & Caroline... Franklin & Kayla... Lora & Dan... Cort (in africa on a mission)We don't do In-Laws at our house.. and we have three Grandkid's and One more on the way...

14. Does he have a hidden talent?

ummm yes.. If I told you it would not be hidden anymore... haha

15. How old is he?

16. Who said I love you first?

Bart did...

17. What is his favorite type of music?

Classic Country..

18. What do you admire most about him?

It is a toss up.. I can't choose one over the other...

His undying Love for Children... and the fact that he is always Happy and always looks for the good in life..

**Laying next to Ace while he is sleeping.. and watching him breathe.. knowing the miracle that he is.!!
**My Husband.. being with him, weather it be work or play. He is my best friend..!! I Love Him..He is always happy and makes me laugh.. mostly at myself..! I give him lots of amunition..!!
**Having all my kids togther in the same place at the same time..

A FUNNY THING HAPPENED

NOV. 1ST 08:
I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS PART TIMERS OR WHAT BUT.. A FUNNY THING HAPPENED THIS DAY.. I WOKE UP AND SAW THAT WE HAD 4 BANANA'S THAT WERE GOING BAD.. NOT WANTING TO WASTE THEM, I DECIDED TO MAKE SOME BANANA NUT BREAD.. SO I STARTED MY RECIPE.. I EVEN PUT THE BUTTER IN THE MICROWAVE TO MELT A BIT FASTER.. I GOT TO THE VERY LAST INGREDIANT (NUTS). AND THERE WERE NONE IN THE FRIDGE.. I COULD HAVE SWORN I HAD NUTS IN THE FRIDGE.. I ASKED BART IF HE THREW THEM OUT.. HE SAID HE DID NOT TOUCH THE NUTS.. HMMMM I CLEANED OUT THE FRIDGE JUST A FEW DAYS BEFORE COULD I HAVE THROWN THEM OUT ACCIDENTALLY..?? I MUST HAVE OR SO I THOUGHT.. WELL I DECIDED THAT WE WOULD HAVE OUR BANANA NUT BREAD MINUS THE NUTS.. AND SO I PUT THE BATTER IN THE PAN... AND BAKED IT ON 350 FOR 45 MINUTES... JUST RIGHT.. WE ATE SOME OF IT WHILE IT WAS WARM AND ALTHOUGH WE MISSED THE NUTS.. WE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS OKAY... WELL LATER THAT EVENING I WAS COOKING DINNER AND OPENED A CUPBOARD THAT I DONT OPEN VERY OFTEN.. AND A WHOLE BAG OF WALNUTS FELL ON MY HEAD.. I HAD PUT THEM AWAY WITH OTHER ITEMS.. I PRECEEDED TO COOK DINNER LAUGHING AT MYSELF FOR BEING SO FORGETFUL... WENT TO THE MICROWAVE TO COOK MY BEANS.. BUT HAD TO MOVE A CUP OF ONCE MELTED NOW HARDENED AGAIN BUTTER.. HMMMM WHO PUT THAT IN THERE... ??? GHESSSSSSS...

OCT. 20TH 08:
A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON MY WAY TO WORK.. OKAY MAYBE IT WASN'T THAT FUNNY.. I WAS GETTING GAS ($2.76 A GALLON).. AND A LADY PULLS UP IN AN OLDER TEAL COLORED CAR.. I AM WATCHING A LITTLE KID SPITTING SPIT WADS AT AN OLDER SIBLING.. I SMILED THINKING OF MATT ANTAGANIZING LORA.. THEN I HEARD AN ENGINE START AND A SCRATCHING NOISE. AS I LOOKED UP THE LADY IN THE TEAL CAR HAD DROVE AWAY WITH THE GAS HOSE STILL IN HER CAR... I WHISTLED AND WAVED AT HER.. SHE WAVED BACK AND PROCEDED TO THE STOP SIGN... I LAUGHED... AND LAUGHED.. HOW COULD SHE NOT HAVE HEARD THAT HOSE HITTING HER CAR ALL THE WAY DOWN AS SHE PULLED OUT.. SHE IS GOING TO FEEL REALLY SILLY WHEN SHE GETS HOME AND SEES THE GAS TANK STILL OPEN AND SCRATCHES ALL DOWN HER CAR.. FUNNY STUFF.. OKAY I GUESS YOU HAD TO BE THERE...
